Maryam Nawaz expresses concern over egg-throwing incident involving Aleema Khan.
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari denounced the incident involving Aleema Khan, sister of the PTI founder, calling it “regrettable and unfortunate”.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Bukhari said that the Punjab Chief Minister had also expressed concern over the episode, adding that such incidents should not happen in politics.
“This is a regrettable act and I have already condemned it in a tweet,” she said. “The question is, where did such practices begin? Once shoes were hurled at others, and they used to celebrate. Retribution is a frightening thing.”
