Following the opposition’s submission of a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly (NA) against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government, opposition parties in Punjab submitted a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday.
After determining that it had the necessary numbers in the Punjab Assembly to unseat the provincial chief minister, the opposition tabled the motion.
Several opposition members of parliament have signed the proposal.
