Tons of meat is burned in Bani Gala for ‘witchcraft’, claims Shahbaz

Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, claimed that chicken meat is burned in Bani Gala for ‘witchcraft’.

Shehbaz Sharif remarked in an interview with a private TV channel that the poor are starving and children crave milk, but that lots of chicken are being burned in Bani Gala for witchcraft.

“This is something I’m stating completely honestly. Despite this, the Prime Minister talks of ‘Riyasat-e-Madina’ and ‘Amar Bil Maroof [enjoying well]’ ” he added.

Shehbaz Sharif also ruled out a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, claiming that the premier’s behavior with rivals has remained disrespectful because he has never considered the Opposition’s viewpoint.

Shehbaz had previously recommended the formation of a national government for the next five years without the participation of the PTI in an interview with Geo News’ Capital Talk.

“However, because we [the Opposition] have trodden on his toes, he [the PM] started seeing people,” he continued.

Imran Khan, according to Shehbaz, talks about ‘Riyasat-e-Madina’ while promoting cartels.

He warned National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser about the deliberate delay in the lower house session to avert a no-confidence move against the Prime Minister.

“[The] Opposition had filed a no-trust motion on March 8, but he purposefully convened [the] lower house session late, thus Article (6) will be applied to him because he has already broken the Constitution,” he stated.

Shehbaz responded to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s suggestion that the Opposition should be surprised, saying, “Before he surprises us, we will surprise Imran Khan.”

“He’s seeking for an unconstitutional way out of this predicament, but we won’t let him,” Shehbaz said.
