Going to Pakistan for jihad is ‘Fasad’, Afghan Taliban tell TTP

The Afghan Taliban have cautioned the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) that waging a jihad in any country, especially Pakistan, against the orders of the Ameer is forbidden, reported The Asian Mirror on Wednesday.

Addressing the police’s passing-out parade, Afghan Taliban Commander Saeedullah Saeed has said that those waging jihad in other countries by joining different groups are not ‘real mujahids’.

“Going to Pakistan for jihad despite the fact that the state of Afghanistan has ordered them not to do so is a non-compliance,” he has said, adding, “Waging jihad only because of an association with a militant group or because of ego will be in the eyes of Islamic Shariah ‘Fasad’ and not jihad.”

The Taliban commander has further said it is a state’s Ameer, and not any group, who announces or gives permission for jihad.

Defence experts have said that this statement by the commander is crucial for Pakistan’s internal stability.

They have further said that the jihad at the behest of India is not jihad but a declaration of war against Shariah, the state and peace.
