Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-(PTI) Insaf’s political committee on Thursday (today) to assess the approaching no-confidence motion and the ‘number game’ in Parliament.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the meeting in Islamabad this afternoon, during which he and other attendees will be informed about a recent meeting between the PTI and its ally MQM-P.
The gathering will also discuss the party’s political strategy and preparations for a public assembly on March 27 in Islamabad.
It’s worth noting that the ruling PTI is fighting hard to enlist the support of its allies in the face of the opposition’s no-confidence motion against the prime minister.
The opposition, on the other hand, appears to be highly confident, claiming that the prime minister would be booted from office soon after a vote of no-confidence in Parliament.
