The ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to send show-cause notices to its dissident members.
The PTI has signed show-cause notices for 13 of its rogue members, according to sources. Asad Umar, the party’s Secretary-General, signed the notices.
The PTI committee meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, determined on Friday that the PTI’s renegade members will be served with a show-cause notice.
The insurgents have been given the opportunity to justify their viewpoint in the notification. They have seven days to issue an unconditional apology and return to the fold of the party. The show-cause notification went on to say that if they don’t respond within seven days, the party will take action against them.
