Malik Riaz accused of grabbing poor people’s land, says Khawaja Asif.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has asked for a national probe into the assets of business tycoon Malik Riaz, questioning how state funds ended up in Riaz’s account.
He highlighted that no individual, regardless of wealth, should be able to challenge the state.
Asif also blamed Malik Riaz of illegally occupying land belonging to poor people and asserted that Riaz claimed to have bribed numerous individuals.
The former minister emphasised the need for comprehensive investigations into Riaz’s financial dealings at the national level.
