Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to modify the Punjab government’s structure, according to Federal Minister for Housing Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema.
On Friday, Tariq Bashir Cheema announced that a federal government committee had informed them that the prime minister had consented to change Punjab’s chief minister and wished them well. The committee notified the prime minister that he had bowed to change in Punjab, according to Cheema.
When we asked about the timing of the change, the committee assured us that it would happen after the no-confidence vote was finished, according to Cheema.
“The government should not consider them a child,” argued government ally Tariq Cheema. How can we trust it to keep its word following the no-trust motion?”
The Opposition had promised them the office of Punjab chief minister, while the government had offered them “lollypop,” according to Cheema.
He went on to say that the prime minister should take things seriously because he had fielded an Under-16 team.
According to Cheema, pressure is mounting on the PML-Q to make a decisive decision within the next 48 hours.
It’s worth noting that Tariq Bashir Cheema paid a visit to Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday. The meeting focused on issues concerning the country’s general political status.
