Imran Khan meets with the Chaudhry brothers
PM Imran Khan met with the Chaudhry brothers of the PML-Q earlier this week, as the opposition seeks to destabilise the incumbent administration by targeting PTI allies.
The prime minister’s meeting with PML-top Q’s brass, who are allies of the government in Punjab and the Centre, lasted more than 30 minutes at the Chaudhry brother’s mansion in Lahore while he was on a one-day visit to the provincial capital.
During the meeting, the prime minister was accompanied by Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mehmood, Energy Minister Hammad Azhar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, and other PTI leaders.
MNAs Salik Hussain and Shafay Hussain, as well as former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat and Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervaiz Elahi, attended the meeting.
The prime minister questioned Shujaat’s health throughout the meeting. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for paying him a visit and inquiring about his health.
