PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari remarked that the current government has deprived the country of democracy and economic prosperity, as well as corroded public trust and confidence.
When it comes to the no-confidence resolution, the Opposition parties, according to the PPP leader, are all on the same page. He stated that after the current government is ousted, the opposition would form a transitional government and hold free and fair elections.
“Hopefully, we will be able to expel Imran Khan from Parliament once more through a no-trust motion, and Imran Khan will be dismissed as soon as the numbers are complete,” he said.
Many different organizations have contacted PPP, but it is not the right moment to announce who they are, he added. “When the moment is perfect, all cards will be disclosed,” he stated
In response to the PML-vote, Q’s Bilawal observed, “It would not be an easy one; the government will have to make a huge deal to get their vote.”
Bilawal stated that the Prime Minister should resign before the PPP arrives in Islamabad and that the PTI should compete through elections.
He refused to comment, however, on PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s announcement that the Opposition will file a no-confidence motion against the PTI-led government within the next 48 hours.
He also said that “it is up to Nawaz Sharif whether or not he wants to return” when asked about PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s comeback.
Bilawal added that it is regrettable that Asif Ali Zardari (his father) has been unable to witness his first grandchild owing to his name being on the Exit Control List (ECL), and that he aspires to bring down the incumbent administration and replace it with one that comes through clean and fair elections.
