Pakistan denounces Israeli attack on refugee camp in Rafah.
Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli bombardment targeting a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) refugee camp in Rafah, located in the Gaza Strip.
This incident has resulted in multiple casualties. In an official press statement, the Pakistani Foreign Office highlighted that the individuals affected were already displaced due to prior Israeli bombardments and were seeking refuge in the camp.
The martyrs’ bodies have no heads. A woman screams. Children run here & there not knowing where to go. An infant drenched in his blood lies in his father’s arms

“The attack is also a blatant defiance of the additional provisional measures of 24 May 2024 by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordering Israel to immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah in conformity with its obligations under the Genocide Convention and the worsening humanitarian conditions faced by civilians,” the statement read.

It added that through their latest actions, Israeli occupation forces have once again shown their disregard for international law and the fundamental principles of decency and acceptable international behavior.
“Pakistan reiterates its demand for immediate and unconditional implementation of the orders of the ICJ of 24 May 2024. Measures must be taken to fully protect civilians in Gaza and the Israeli occupation forces must be held accountable for the Gaza genocide. We call on the UN Security Council to play its role in preventing Israel from any further attacks against the civilians in Rafah and taking effective measures to protect the people of Gaza”, the statement concluded.
