Nawaz Sharif is ready for grand dialogue with PTI founder.

Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, has advocated for a grand dialogue between key political players and maintained that PMLN supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif is ready for talks with PTI founder Imran Khan.

This call comes at a time of heightened tension between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founded by Imran Khan.

Push for Unconditional Talks:

Sanaullah emphasized the necessity of unconditional talks, asserting that it’s the only viable path forward for resolving issues and fostering a conducive environment.

He underlined the significance of including political parties in any dialogue, highlighting the undeniable reality of PTI’s presence in the political landscape.

Sanaullah also acknowledged the political weight carried by figures like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari.

Inclusion of Institutions:

Notably, Sanaullah proposed the inclusion of institutions in the grand dialogue in subsequent phases.

He stressed the crucial role institutions play in the progress of the nation, indicating a comprehensive approach to addressing Pakistan’s challenges.

Imran Khan’s Stance from Adiala Jail:

Meanwhile, Imran Khan, currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail, has stood firm on his stance against striking any deal for his release.

Speaking to journalists, Khan reiterated his readiness for talks while maintaining his opposition to deals, particularly those reminiscent of individuals seeking to evade legal proceedings, such as Zardari and Sharif.

Meanwhile, Khan’s PTI has expressed willingness to engage in dialogue with adversaries, excluding only certain political parties, namely PML-N, PPP, and MQM-P.

Sanaullah’s call for dialogue signals a recognition of the need for reconciliation and cooperation.
