Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was briefed on significant development projects in Punjab following her party’s nomination of her as the potential candidate for the province’s chief minister position.

Maryam Nawaz, a scion of the Sharif family, emerged as the PML-N’s nominee for the coveted position of Punjab chief minister following her resounding victory in the recent general elections held on February 8.
She secured victories in both a National Assembly seat and a provincial assembly seat in Lahore, specifically PP-159 and NA-119, respectively.
As Maryam Nawaz briefed on ongoing projects even before Punjab CM election, earlier this week, Maryam Nawaz publicly stated her disinterest in assuming the roles of prime minister or chief minister after triumphing in the forthcoming general elections, asserting that her priorities lie elsewhere.
