Ex-PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry arrested from Islamabad. Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was arrested on Saturday from his residence in Islamabad by a group of police officers and individuals in plainclothes.
The arrest was confirmed by Chaudhry’s wife, Hiba Fawad Chaudhary, who expressed her bewilderment as to why her husband was detained.
She stated that Chaudhry was taken into custody without any explanation, leaving the family in a state of confusion.
This recent arrest adds to a series of legal issues faced by Chaudhry. He was previously arrested in January after making public threats against members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) during a media talk outside Imran Khan’s residence.
