PM directs MQM-P ministers to speed up developments projects

Prime Minister Imran Khan met with ministers from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Tuesday and instructed them to speed up the implementation of several current development projects in Karachi in order to provide better services to the people.

On the occasion, Minister for Information Technology Syed Aminul Haq was joined by Minister for Law Dr Farogh Naseem and PTI Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi.

He also urged that all reasonable measures be taken to create work opportunities for the country’s tech-savvy young and to promote information technology.

The delegates discussed various development initiatives in Karachi, and the prime minister was updated on the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication’s performance.

Aftab Siddiqui, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Karachi, also met with PM Imran in a separate meeting.

During the meeting, the relevant constituency’s political issues as well as development plans were discussed.

Aftab Siddiqui praised Prime Minister’s initiative to provide low-cost housing to the country’s middle and lower classes.

The prime minister told him to mobilise PTI workers in Karachi to build and organise the party at the grassroots level.
