Sheikh Rashid’s Lal Haveli has been sealed. The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) in Rawalpindi sealed Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s Lal Haveli home on Thursday. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed is the president of the Awami Muslim League (AML).

The documents provided by Sheikh Rashid were declared invalid, according to Asif Khan, the deputy administrator of the ETPB, who explained to the media why the sealing was done.

The deputy administrator stated that the ETPB chairman gave his approval for the decision to seal Lal Haveli. Early in the morning, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and a sizable police presence took part in the operation to evacuate the property.

Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, the nephew of the AML leader, claimed in a video statement that Lal Haveli had been registered in 1988 under Sheikh Siddique’s name.

He asserted that the deputy commissioner of Rawalpindi had received all property records and that they had responded by filing a document with the Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court.

Additionally, he stated that they intended to appeal the ETPB’s decision to seal their property in the Supreme Court.

As Sheikh Rashid’s Lal Haveli sealed, the ETPB took over control of Lal Haveli after the operation and set up security posts outside the home.

According to Sheikh Rashid’s lawyer, Sardar Abdul Razaq, this development came after Sheikh Rashid was recently detained in Rawalpindi.
