On Monday, at least four persons were killed and 16 others were injured in a suicide bombing at a Swat police station in the Kabal area of Swat district.
According to authorities, unidentified gunmen opened fire, resulting in a suicide bombing and a second big explosion within seconds, causing residences to be damaged over a two-kilometer radius.
The police station’s building was completely damaged as a result of the explosions, according to the authorities.
According to police, an emergency has been declared at Saidu Sharif Hospital after the suicide bombing at Swat police station where the injured are being treated.

Rescue 1122 personnel stated that an operation is underway to rescue the persons trapped beneath the building’s debris.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan denounced the explosions and expressed heartfelt condolences to the martyrs’ families.
He also urged the relevant authorities to promptly begin relief operations and offer quick medical assistance to the injured.
He called the incident “highly condemnable and a heinous act.”
The latest attack comes as Pakistan faces a rise in terrorism incidents, with militants targeting law enforcers in their new offensive. Security agencies have also ramped up operations against the terrorists.
Earlier, on 13 September 2022, five people, including the former head of the Peace Committee and two policemen, were killed in a bomb blast in the Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In a statement, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has accepted responsibility for the blast, but the authorities have not yet confirmed this claim.
