COAS Bajwa reaffirms battle against terrorists

RAWALPINDI — Pakistan Army Chief of Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reaffirmed the army’s commitment to fight terrorism till it is eradicated from the country.

According to ISPR, he expressed gratitude to security forces for creating an enabling atmosphere for the completion of socio-economic development projects in the newly combined districts, which are critical for the area’s long-term stability and advancement.

The army commander paid gratitude to heroic tribesmen, officers and troops of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Constabulary, Levies, Khasadar, and Police, promising that Shuhada’s sacrifices would not be in vain and that Pakistan would once again be at peace.

The Army Chief was briefed in detail on the current security situation, development projects in newly combined districts, and Pak-Afghan border fencing.

The Army Chief was greeted by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid upon his arrival at the Corps Headquarters.
