NCOC decides to close elite Covid schools across Pakistan

Islamabad – The NCOC declared Friday that all schools with high COVID-19 positive rates will be closed.

School closures for ONE WEEK imposed by top coronavirus watchdog.

The provincial government will decide on school closures in cooperation with district health, education, and school administrations.

NCOC claimed schools in Omicron-hit cities were tested for COVID to track disease spread among students.

So, based on the findings, the forum has decided:

Intensive testing in schools during the next two weeks, especially in illness hotspots.

Federating units will conduct school vaccination initiatives to ensure 100% vaccination of pupils over 12.
