NED University of Engineering & Technology (NED) and Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) signed a 10-year deal on Tuesday in Karachi to build Pakistan’s first soccer city stadium.
The German engineers will design a series of football infrastructure projects in Karachi, including the construction of a state-of-the-art football stadium, under the terms of the deal.
All of FIFA’s world-class facilities will be available at the stadium. According to a corporate press release, the revolutionary stadium was designed by a German group.
“NED University aims to be on the cutting edge of research and technology, as well as football,” remarked NED’s vice chancellor.
GSV Chairman Zaib Khan stated that the GSV is the foundation of Pakistan’s sports revolution.
He went on to say that the development of the flagship soccer city will motivate other towns and institutions to join in.
