Federal minister for industries and production meets PM in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Industries and Production Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the conference, topics such as the PTI’s organisational structure in South Punjab and regional development projects were covered.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged Bakhtiar to expedite the completion of ongoing development projects, particularly the South Punjab Secretariat, to ensure the people of that region’s ease and convenience.

He also told Khusro Bakhtiar that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in South Punjab should be strengthened and operationalized.

The premier further stated that he will personally monitor the progress of all problems concerning South Punjab on a regular basis.

The foundation stone for the south Punjab secretariat will be placed shortly in Bahawalpur, according to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, who said the PTI-led government was keeping its commitments to the people.

He presided over a special committee meeting on the south Punjab secretariat, during which members were briefed on the secretariat’s operations.
