The government has declared a decrease in the prices of petroleum products.
Addressing a press conference, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the government decided to bring down the prices of petrol, kerosene and light-speed diesel by Rs10 per litre.
The rate of high-speed diesel has been reduced by R7.5 per litre, the finance minister said, adding that the new prices will be applicable for two weeks.
The new prices of petrol and high-speed diesel are Rs214.80 and Rs 227.80 paise per litre while the new rate of light diesel is Rs169 per litre and the Kerosene price is Rs171.83 per litre.
