Prime Minister Imran Khan landed in Lahore on Thursday for a one-day visit.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will open a new techno centre as part of the Knowledge Park project in Lahore. At a gathering held under the aegis of the Pakistan Special Technology Zone, he will hand out certificates. He will also be shown a 3-D model of the Knowledge Park project in Lahore.
PM Imran will also meet with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the Punjab Chief Secretary, and the Punjab Inspector General of Police.
The prime minister will also preside over a meeting to assess the current political situation in Punjab, with a particular focus on the upcoming local body elections in the province.
He will also dedicate the Abul Hassan Shazli Center at the University’s Government College.
Only a day before, on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 (Wednesday), the prime minister had canceled his visit to Lahore due to prior commitments.
Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi HI PP is a Pakistani politician and former cricket captain who served as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan from August 2018 until April 2022. He is the founder and chairman of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Born to a Niazi Pashtun family in Lahore, Khan graduated from Keble College, University of Oxford, England, in 1975. He began his international cricket career at age 18, in a 1971 Test series against England.
