No compromise on human rights in democracies. On Friday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), emphasized the importance of cultivating a culture in the country that values human rights.
In his speech on Human Rights Day, he emphasized the importance of strengthening democracy and promoting democratic principles.
“Compromise on human freedom and individual rights is inconceivable in true democracies,” he said.
Bilawal expressed sadness that there were individuals in the country who were continuously looking for methods to violate human rights.
“This is because, for the most part, we’ve had dictatorships in the country or military-installed regimes,” the PPP chairman said.
