Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif demanded on Tuesday that the Election Commission of Pakistan issue the “long-delayed” decision in the PTI foreign funding case.
“For long has Imran Niazi been given a free pass despite his repeated and shameless attacks on state institutions. Impunity given to him has hurt the country,” said the premier.
His message comes after the PTI was thrashed in by-elections in 20 Punjab constituencies on Sunday.
Unofficial results showed that the PTI won 15 seats and the PML-N won only four.
