The heirs of late TV presenter and former politician Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain will petition the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday (today) against the deceased’s post-mortem.
The petition will be heard by a two-member Sindh High Court (SHC) bench led by Justice Junaid Ghaffar.
Previously, the Supreme Court had suspended a judicial magistrate’s order for the exhumation and post-mortem examination of late PTI lawmaker and TV host Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s body was allowed to be post-mortem by Judicial Magistrate Wazir Hussain Memon.
It should be noted that famous TV host and MNA Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain died on June 9, 2022, in his Karachi home.
The heirs of Aamir Liaquat had stated that they did not want his body to be post-mortem.
