The price of gold fell slightly on Wednesday, despite the rupee continuing to lose ground against the US dollar.
The cost of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs400 per tola. With the gold price falling, the price of 24-carat gold reached Rs143,200.
The price of 10-gram 24-carat gold has also been reduced by Rs343 to Rs122,771. The price of 10-gram 22-carat gold has also dropped to Rs112,540.
24-carat and 10-gram silver prices remained stable at Rs1590 and Rs1363.16, respectively.
The price of gold per ounce has also fallen by $6 on the international market.
The international gold price per ounce has now reached $1852.
