A parliamentary committee met on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Ayaz Sadiq and approved the appointment of two members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The names were approved after several meetings of Pakistan’s Election Commission.
Justice (retd) Ikram Ullah Khan (from Swat) has been appointed as an ECP member from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Babar Hassan Bharwana (from Jhang district) has been appointed as an ECP member from Punjab.
