The Lahore High Court (LHC) accepted Ali Zafar’s consul arguments on Tuesday but denied singer Meesha Shafi’s request to record her statement via video link.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer argued that Meesha Shafi has continued her concerts around the world even during COVID-19 and that there is no reason to allow her to record her statement before the trial court via video link when she should be recording it in person.
Meesha Shafi changed the verdict because she wanted to record her statement in trial court via video link.
The LHC will issue its written decision today.
