The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday hinted at imposing exemplary fines on the guilty Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials in the case of PTI leader from Multan Kanwal Shauzab.
The court ordered FIA Deputy Director Salman Khan and the case’s investigation officer to submit written responses to the court.
Deputy Attorney General Syed Tayyab Shah told the court during the hearing that the matter had already been settled between the parties.
IHC Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Athar Minallah questioned why no action was taken against officials who abused their authority by conducting an investigation.
