Load shedding continues in several parts of Pakistan

On Wednesday, power outages in different parts of the country have been testing the public’s patience due to the rising temperature.

Several regions of Karachi are reportedly experiencing 10 to 12 hours of load shedding. In a number of areas, the electricity supply is also cut off overnight.

During exam hours, students in Lahore are experiencing significant inconvenience due to power load shedding. In addition, they face difficulties preparing for exams at night due to prolonged power outages.

They stated that there should be no load-shedding during school hours and that it was difficult to complete their homework assignments during power outages.

In addition, they have demanded summer vacations beginning on May 20, immediately following the conclusion of their exams. “The demand for early summer vacations is being considered,” stated the department of education.

During the matriculation examination hours in Hyderabad, load shedding is being implemented. On Wednesday, matriculated students in Hyderabad took an English exam. As a result of the power outage during exam hours, they encountered great difficulty.

In addition to the heat, the power outages made it difficult for the students to take the exam.
