Two professors and a college guard were injured on Tuesday when a group of students opened fire on them at a Kasur college.

The shooting occurred after the college security team barred the students from entering the campus.

When outsiders fired shots while professors were already on the scene to control the situation, a verbal brawl between students at a private college and a guard turned violent.

Professor Malik Asghar, Professor Mirza Iftikhar, and a guard were among those injured.

The shooting incident instilled fear in the local community and among students.

Inside the college, the injured were given medical attention. Police arrived at the college and launched an investigation into the incident.
