Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana has been named among the nominees for the ICC Player of the Month for February 2026, following a series of influential all-round performances against South Africa.

Despite Pakistan losing both the ODI and T20I series 2-1, Fatima Sana consistently delivered with both bat and ball. She capped the series with another match-winning effort in the third T20I, scoring an unbeaten 47 and taking 2 for 12, earning her the Player of the Match award.

Consistent impact in ODIs

Fatima Sana also shone in the ODI series, compiling a crucial 52 in the second match while claiming two key wickets. Across the tour, she finished with four wickets in the ODIs and two in the T20Is, reinforcing her status as Pakistan’s premier all-rounder.

On the men’s side, Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan is also in contention after a record-breaking ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign.
