A comprehensive plan to transform Mall Road in Lahore into a world-class tourist destination has been prepared, with Nawaz Sharif personally overseeing the project.
District administration officials briefed Sharif on the project, highlighting strategies to restore historical landmarks while creating modern attractions for both citizens and tourists.
Key Features of the Mall Road Revamp

Café Streets and Walkways: The project will introduce modern café streets, pedestrian-friendly walkways, and high-end restaurants along Mall Road.

Tourist Points: Several tourist attractions and public spaces will be developed, blending Lahore’s rich history with contemporary urban design.

Heritage Restoration: The Dinga Singh Building will undergo 100 percent restoration, and 136 historical structures, including Dayal Singh Mansion, Ganga Ram Trust Building, and Ganga Ram Mansion, will be renovated to preserve the city’s cultural identity.

Tourist Streets: The road near Lahore Museum will be converted into a dedicated tourist street, while a state-of-the-art café street opposite the Lahore High Court will combine historical charm with modern amenities.
