Sheikh Rashid terms country’s situation ‘disturbing and worrying’

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, a former interior minister, described the current situation in the country as “disturbing and worrying,” saying that people who should have been imprisoned were being promoted to important government positions, while those whose loyalty was vital to the country’s survival were becoming suspect.

“Those who should have been imprisoned are getting assigned to significant positions, and those who needed to be revered by the country are becoming suspect,” the Awami Muslim League (AML) chairman stated in a statement on Twitter.

“The agents of imperialist forces have exalted their vile actions,” Rashid remarked.

Imran Khan’s demand for an Islamabad march will startle the world because it will be tough. He projected that the current government would be the shortest in Pakistan’s history.
