Khloe Kardashian has made it clear that if she plans to have another baby, marriage will be a non-negotiable step. On her Khloe In Wonder Land podcast, the 41-year-old reality star opened up about her thoughts on expanding her family.
Already a mother to seven-year-old True and three-year-old Tatum, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, Khloe admitted she is unsure if she has the emotional capacity for a third child at this time.
“I don’t know if I have the bandwidth,” she said, adding, “I’d want to be married” before welcoming another baby.
Khloe also shared her reluctance to return to the dating world. She revealed she struggles with Sarmassophobia, an intense fear of romantic intimacy, explaining that the idea of starting over feels overwhelming after everything she’s been through.
“It’s scary,” Khloe admitted in a candid conversation with sister Kim Kardashian. “I feel so safe where I am now. I hated how I felt before. I don’t want to go back there.”
Her complicated history with Thompson has played out publicly for years. The couple began dating in 2016 and welcomed daughter True in 2018. However, their relationship faced multiple cheating scandals, including one while she was pregnant and a high-profile incident in 2019 involving Jordyn Woods.
Despite brief reconciliations, including quarantining together during the pandemic, Khloe and Tristan ultimately split for good in 2021. Son Tatum was born via surrogate in July 2022, but Khloe has firmly stated that there is no romantic reunion on the horizon.
“He’s not back in,” she emphasized on her podcast. “He’s the father of my kids. That’s it.”
Before Thompson, Khloe was married to former NBA star Lamar Odom from 2009 until their divorce in 2016, a chapter that also shaped her perspective on love and commitment.
These days, Khloe is focusing on motherhood and her expanding business ventures. She continues to serve as an investor and ambassador for Good American, the fashion brand she co-founded with Emma Grede in 2016, while stepping back from day-to-day operations. She is also dedicating energy to her podcast and growing her snack brand, Khloud by Khloé Kardashian, which launched in 2025.
