Sialkot Stallionz have strengthened their batting lineup by acquiring aggressive top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore during the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.
The right-handed opener attracted significant interest from multiple franchises following his consistent performances in recent months, particularly for Pakistan in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in Sri Lanka and India.
Farhan’s fearless approach at the top of the order, coupled with his ability to score rapidly during the powerplay, has established him as a valuable asset in the T20 format.
Sialkot Stallionz are expected to deploy Farhan as a frontline opener, tasking him with providing early momentum and anchoring the innings in high-pressure matches.
The signing comes amid an action-packed PSL 11 auction, where franchises have shown a clear preference for proven domestic match-winners under the league’s new auction-based system.
Earlier in the auction, Rawalpindi secured fast bowler Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore to reinforce their pace attack, while Lahore Qalandars re-signed Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore following his impressive 2025–26 Big Bash League campaign.
With teams rapidly finalising their core squads, PSL 11 is shaping up to deliver one of the most competitive seasons yet, featuring a strong blend of established stars and in-form local talent.
