Pakistani students aspiring to pursue higher education in Europe can now apply for Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) Scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year.
The fully funded program offers study opportunities at some of Italy’s leading universities, including the University of Bologna, Sapienza University of Rome, and Politecnico di Milano.
Italy has officially launched the MAECI Scholarship program to promote international academic cooperation and support the study of Italian language and culture.

The MAECI Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering major study-related expenses. Benefits include:

Eligibility Criteria for Pakistani Applicants
Pakistani students can apply under the following categories:

Master’s degree programs:
Applicants must be under 28 years of age and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree -
PhD programs:
Applicants must be under 30 years of age, hold a master’s degree, and have a university acceptance or pre-acceptance letter -
Research projects:
Applicants must be under 40 years of age
