OZ Developers has revealed its initial strategy for naming and branding its newly acquired Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise from Sialkot, confirming that the process will be led by professional branding specialists.
Speaking after acquiring PSL Team 8, the company’s owner said the franchise’s team name, logo, and brand identity will be developed through expert consultation rather than internal decision-making.

According to OZ Developers, experienced professionals will be hired to ensure the PSL Sialkot team branding reflects both Sialkot’s rich cricketing heritage and the modern, commercial image of the Pakistan Super League.

OZ Developers Secures PSL Franchise for Rs. 185 Crore
The Sialkot-based PSL franchise was awarded to OZ Developers after the company submitted a winning bid of Rs. 185 crore, surpassing the base price of Rs. 170 crore.
The team will represent Sialkot, a city with a longstanding association with Pakistani cricket and international sports manufacturing.

PSL officials have officially confirmed Sialkot as one of the new host cities, alongside Hyderabad, as part of the league’s latest PSL expansion phase.
