The Government of Sindh’s College Education Department has officially opened applications for the Bhutto STEM Scholarship 2026–27 at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford, in collaboration with the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP).
This fully funded scholarship targets highly qualified and motivated students from Sindh aiming to pursue Master’s, MPhil, or PhD/DPhil degrees.
Six Scholarships Available, Including Women’s Quota
For the 2026–27 academic year, a total of six scholarships will be awarded:

Three scholarships reserved for female candidates under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Initiative

Three scholarships awarded on open merit under the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Initiative

The program emphasizes STEM disciplines, giving preference to candidates in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields.
Eligibility Criteria for Bhutto STEM Scholarship
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold a Sindh CNIC, domicile, and PRC (Form-D)

Fulfill the academic and English language requirements of the University of Oxford

Secure an unconditional offer from Oxford University for the 2026–27 academic year

Not be receiving any other scholarship
The selection process will include online application submission, shortlisting, and potential interviews, assessed jointly by the College Education Department and the Oxford Pakistan Programme Scholarship Committee.

How to Apply for the Bhutto STEM Scholarship
Interested candidates must apply online via the Oxford Pakistan Programme website. Only complete applications will be considered. Application opening and closing dates will be announced through the official OPP portal.
