Rivals shot and killed a 30-year-old lawyer on the doorstep of his home in the village of Arifwala on Thursday.
A sizable police contingent arrived in the village and cordoned off the area for investigation. The incident occurred on the premises of the village’s Police Station (Saddr).
The lawyer’s body was transferred to Arifwala hospital.
The police stated that both parties had a history of animosity and have launched an investigation into the incident.
