The Meteorological Department says that a strong westerly wind stream will enter Balochistan from December 6 to 10, and this stream is predicted to continue intermittently throughout the month.
Rain to end drought in these districts
The rain will end the drought in most districts of the province, including Zhob, Sherani, Musakhel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Sibi, Lasbela, Awaran, Kech, Gwadar, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Qila Saifullah, Chaghi, Noshki, Washak, and Mastung.

According to experts, this year the northwest winds are more active than usual and the moisture coming from the Arabian Sea is moving towards Balochistan, which is why the rains will be prolonged.
