Mahira Khan has finally opened up about the long-standing rumors of a “silent rivalry” with fellow actress Saba Qamar.
During her recent appearance on a TV show, the Aik Hai Nigar star addressed the alleged conflict when a fan asked her about the rivalry often portrayed by the media between her and Saba Qamar.
Responding to the question, Mahira Khan said she feels no competition with the Sar-e-Rah actor.
She also highlighted a broader societal problem of pitting successful women against each other, calling the comparisons both unfair and unnecessary.
“This is a problem we have the world over. When you see one successful woman and another successful woman, we start to pit them against each other, and it works for everybody else except them. As far as I am concerned, I feel no rivalry at all,’” she bluntly said.

The famous actor further lauded Saba Qamar as a best performer and expressed her desire to collaborate with her.
Over the years, the media and public have often framed Mahira Khan and Saba Qamar as rivals, with even subtle remarks from either side frequently interpreted as signs of competition.
Most recently, Mahira was asked about Karachi during a brief press interaction, just days after Saba Qamar made headlines for criticizing the city.
