Official protocol to Shiekh Rasheed has been withdrawn.
The official protocol issued to former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was withdrawn on Tuesday.
According to reports, the former interior minister was given a bulletproof land cruiser and a special police squad.
The Rangers squad, which had been assigned to protect the former interior minister, was also returned to the ministry.
The interior ministry also received reports from the chief security officer and other officials, including personal staff.
Sheikh Rashid, as a former interior minister, will be provided with security personnel in accordance with policy.
