Salman Khan opens up on claims of ‘ruining careers’ in Bollywood.
Renowned Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has addressed the long-standing allegations that he has ruined lives and careers in the Indian film industry, saying such claims are baseless and beyond his control.
The actor’s remarks came during the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, when host Shahnaz Gill reintroduced her brother Shahbaz Badisha as a wild card entry.
While interacting with Salman, Gill noted that the actor had helped launch and shape the careers of many, suggesting he had the power to do the same for her brother.
Salman Khan’s clarification
Salman Khan, however, was quick to clarify his stance.
“I am not responsible for making or ruining anyone’s career,” he said. “People often accuse me of destroying lives in the industry, but in reality, I cannot even ruin my own. The one above decides everything.”
The 58-year-old actor, who has mentored several newcomers over the years, stressed that success and failure in Bollywood depend on talent, hard work, and destiny, not on the influence of a single person.
