Suhana, who is preparing for her big-screen debut in King, reportedly bought a plot worth ₹12.91 crore in Alibaug’s Thal village.
Land reserved for agricultural use
However, the land was originally allocated by the government for farming purposes and reserved for agricultural use.
According to reports, the land was purchased from three sisters — Anjali, Rekha, and Priya — who had inherited it from their parents. At the time of purchase, Suhana allegedly paid a stamp duty of ₹77.46 lakh.

Officials say that in the registered documents, Suhana was shown as a farmer, raising questions about the legality of the transaction.
The property is registered under Deja Vu Farm Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law.
Resident Deputy Collector Sandesh has reportedly directed the Alibag Tehsildar to prepare an unbiased report on the matter.
Multiple purchases in Alibaug
As Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana is in big trouble over a controversial land deal, this was her first purchase in Alibaug.
Within a year, she reportedly bought another property worth ₹10 crore on the beachfront, taking her combined land investment in the area to ₹22 crore (2023–24).

The latest scrutiny has raised questions about whether rules restricting non-farmers from buying agricultural land in Maharashtra were bypassed.
Officials are currently reviewing the transactions to determine whether any laws were violated.
