Official theme announced for Independence Day 2025.
The Government of Pakistan has declared ‘Marka-i-Haq’ as the official theme for this year’s Independence Day celebrations, reflecting national unity, resilience, and the country’s firm stance in defending its sovereignty.
The announcement was made during a high-level meeting chaired by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, who emphasised the significance of recent national efforts that showcased Pakistan as a peaceful yet determined nation that does not compromise on its territorial integrity.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the recent events symbolise a defining chapter in national history where the state, armed forces, government, and people stood united.
He urged all institutions to use this opportunity to honour that spirit and celebrate Pakistan’s progress in key sectors, including economy, governance, innovation, and diplomacy.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the nation remains unshaken and united against any threat.
“Our civil and military forces are standing shoulder to shoulder,” he said.
Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said various activities are being planned — from national songs and poetry gatherings to cultural fairs, documentaries, and global embassy events — to involve Pakistanis at home and abroad.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to celebrate Independence Day with one voice, one pride, and under one unifying theme: Marka-i-Haq.
