Sana Yousaf’s Killer reveals shocking reason for murder.

The main suspect in the murder of 17-year-old renowned TikTok star Sana Yousaf has accepted the crime, sources close to the investigation confirmed on Tuesday.

Umar Hayat, a resident of Faisalabad, recorded his confessional statement under Section 164 before Magistrate Saad Nazir in Islamabad.

In his statement, Umar confessed to fatally shooting Sana at her home on June 3 after she refused to meet him.

The accused claimed he had brought a birthday gift for Sana, which she declined to accept.

According to his confession, Sana first asked him to leave when he attempted to visit.

Later, when he was invited again on June 2 but couldn’t meet her, he said he was overwhelmed with anger. “I was deeply hurt,” he told the magistrate.

After facing rejection, Umar said he returned to Sana’s home the next day and murdered her.

Sana Yousaf was a rising social media influencer with nearly 800,000 followers on TikTok and half a million on Instagram.

Her death has sparked widespread outrage online and reignited conversations about the safety of women in the digital world.

Islamabad police had earlier said the murder stemmed from Sana’s refusal to continue her friendship with the accused.

Umar remains in custody, with a local court extending his physical remand by three more days as investigations proceed.
