Residents of Pindi Bhattian are fed up with the recurring unannounced load shedding that has become a norm in the city. Every Monday and Thursday, from 9 am to 3 pm, the power goes off, disrupting daily life and businesses.
The authorities cite “maintenance work” as the reason, but the people are not buying it.
“It’s not the electricity that’s being fixed; it’s the people who are being broken,” said a frustrated resident.
“Businesses are shutting down, offices are closed, and children, elderly, and patients are suffering at home.”
The lack of concern from the administration, MNA, and MPA has left the people feeling helpless.
“What kind of justice is this? Does maintenance work have no schedule? Is the life of the common man so worthless?” questioned another resident.
The people of Pindi Bhattian are demanding an end to this drama of unannounced load shedding and so-called maintenance work.
“We won’t tolerate this injustice anymore. We demand that the authorities put an end to this practice, or else the people will not remain silent,” warned a protester.
Demands:
– Immediate end to unannounced loadshedding
– Transparent maintenance schedule
– Accountability from authorities
