India will have to pay ‘double price’ for cowardly attacks: NSC

At its meeting, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair, the NSC noted that India misconstrued Pakistan’s desire for peace as its weakness and launched an attack, taking advantage of the darkness of the night.

“Now it will have to pay double price for its cowardly act.”

Army Chief General Asim Munir, senior army officials and federal ministers were present on the occasion.

The Forum applauded the Pakistan Army for giving a swift response to the enemy, due to which its guns fell silent.

The meeting was briefed about the Indian attack and the defence of the motherland by the Pakistan Army.

The participants said that India suffered setbacks not only today but also prior to that in its efforts to enlist the world’s support for its aggression against Pakistan.

The future course of action also came under discussion at the meeting.

The NSC meeting came to an end with the resolve to reply to India in the same coin.

The NSC meeting  was convened in view of the situation at borders following late-night aggression by India.

Federal ministers, chiefs of the three armed forces, and the National Security Advisor participated in the NSC meeting.
